Bike-tilla

In Wrightsvile Beach every year people decorate their boats in Christmas decorations and take a semi lap around the island. About 50,000 people show up to watch.

Over the past couple years a few acquaintances of mine decided to do the same thing on bicycles during the next weekend.

We heard about it and decided to do it.
It was a blast. $20 in Christmas decorations turns your bike into the most ridiculous looking mode of transportation around. When you ride it with 60 other idiots doing the same thing it turns into an amazing event with lots of beer involved.

Here are some pictures.

British Chopper Next to Marc's Bike

We went to the Marina to check out the boat that Marc is living on and see the NC Flotilla in Wrightsville beach. Maybe I'll post some pics of the boats later but I did see a cool british chopper next to Marc's bike. I'll have to ask him to tell me if it ever comes up for sale.

Mustaches for kids

Tonight was the first night. I'm all shaved up and ready for 30 days of stache growing. Www.m4k-ilm.com for more info.

Got it back together and took a test ride

I just ordered some new bars for it. I'm excited to put this on and ride her with Pat next week when he comes up from Florida on his triumph.

Volleyball

It's stuff like this that makes me love this country. Beach volleyball in 40 degrees with a 32 ounce beer.

My friend Dan had to come back from Russia for a few days to get his visa renewed. He always brings me the most random gifts. Last time it was the most amazing instant coffee, this time it was black, juniper flavored toothpaste. Weird.

I still used it though.

Healthfood

Found this in a health food store. Damn Hippies. This was like $20. Do oyster mushrooms cost more than $12/pound?

The Harley that Kevina promised I could get.

Kevina said I could get a Harley if I finish Peace Corps. This is the one, I should have it in the next 2-3 months.

Cool "Mutant" bike

How about this thing? I dig the drop seat but keeping the tank high, that front wheel is pretty crazy looking too. Overall sweet ass.

It's been a while

Holy shit! It's been a while. I kept saying to myself that I have to put up another blogpost but then a month went by. Luckily I have been taking pictures of all those random/interesting things that I have been seeing. Here is a rundown of my last month.

1st thing. We got an apartment downtown. It's awesome and cheap, plus it's only 4 blocks from the river. It's got a small back yard to hide some stuff. Pictured above is our extremely hot space heater. It works really well.

Happy Halloween

I'm riding the scooter now.
This one is for Candace, another wagon lover.
This is actually hand sanitizer.
If I wasn't old enough I might have thought this mug was a piece of anti-peace loving marshmallow propaganda.
I went to the hospital, it was constipation...
Not apendicitis.

Chicken nugget man!
Awesome! They made a shirt out of that.
My friend steve had this on his fridge.
The new popular cheap beer in Wilmington. It's not bad but I still prefer PBR for there red, white, and blue color scheme.
I got the rebel that Dan's dad was keeping for me.
It wasn't running. Look at that cute little carb.
Looks like spring cleaning in fall.
I wish they didn't hide the carb in such an awkward area.
It's running but I haven't gotten around to put her back together.
I was almost mario for halloween but I went with a greaser instead.

DRAGON BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Goodbye for now. Drink one for me until next time.
